kwBolder — Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the kwBolder app (the “App”) within Canva. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Your use of Canva itself is governed by Canva’s own terms, and your use of the App is additionally subject to the Canva Developer Terms and applicable Canva policies.

2. What the App does

kwBolder analyzes the text on your current Canva page and uses AI to suggest and apply bold formatting to the keywords it identifies as most important. The App preserves your existing fonts, sizes, and colors and acts only on the current page.

3. Eligibility

You must be old enough to use Canva in your jurisdiction and have the authority to accept these Terms (including on behalf of an organization, if applicable).

4. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the App in violation of any law or third-party right;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except as permitted by law;
• interfere with, overload, or disrupt the App or its backend (including excessive or automated requests);
• attempt to circumvent usage limits, access controls, or paid-tier gating;
• use the App to process content you do not have the right to process.

6. AI output — no guarantee of accuracy

The App’s keyword detection is generated by an AI model and is provided as a suggestion. It may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing the results before relying on them. We do not warrant that the output will meet your requirements or be error-free. The App provides a preview/review step; using the automatic mode is at your discretion.

7. Plans, payments, and billing

The App offers a free tier and may offer optional premium features. Any paid access is provided and billed through Canva (e.g. as part of a Canva paid plan under Canva’s Premium Apps Program); we do not separately collect payment card details through the App. Entitlements, pricing, and refunds for Canva subscriptions are governed by Canva’s terms.

8. Intellectual property

• Your content. You retain all rights to your designs and text. You grant us a limited license to process your page text solely to provide the keyword detection feature, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Our App. We and our licensors retain all rights in the App, its software, and branding. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks.

9. Third-party services

The App relies on Canva and on Anthropic Claude for AI processing, and on our hosting provider(s). Your use may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

10. Privacy

Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy at https://www.kwbolder.com/privacy , which is incorporated by reference.

11. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS OR USD $50.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it; on uninstall we delete associated usage data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the service.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at https://www.kwbolder.com/terms . Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes are subject to the courts/venue of Salerno (SA), Italy, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
